Vocational Training Network successfully launched
From 1 to 3 November 2019, the first network meeting of the European Network for Vocational Education and Training "Digitally Supported and Sustainable Centres of Excellence in Vocational Education and Training in Europe (DUNE-BB_EU)" took place at the BBS I Uelzen. The event was attended
by more than 100 people from the region as well as from home and abroad. The representatives of the five partner vocational schools from Estonia, France, Italy, Malta and Austria were particularly welcomed.
The network, which also includes the study seminar Hannover LBS, is coordinated by BBS I Uelzen and advised by a circle of supporters, which also includes Dr. Klaus-Dieter Mertineit, Institute for Sustainable TVET and Management Services GmbH. At the event, he contributed his skills and experience to a working group he chaired entitled "Excellent sustainable learning locations".
The project, which is funded by the Erasmus Plus programme and will run for two years, aims to get to know each other better, to learn from each other and to summarise the experience gained in a design guide for excellent learning venues in vocational education and training.
A conference documentation and a documentary film are expected to be available from December on the homepage of the BBS I Uelzen (www.bbs1-uelzen.de).
